I. Post your own work.
A. Please, no one likes a thief. No one likes a sprite thief either. So if you come here with work that isn't yours, and we find out, we'll do what we can to ensure that proper action is secured. You'll be banned too.
II. No Sexually Explicit Sprites
A. Don't think that just because it's pixels you can get around the forum rules. This will be enforced here.
B. I am willing to be lenient on one and only one approach. If a sprite is being used for model purposes, an nude version may be posted ONLY if details of anatomy are left off. Again, I believe in modesty here, so do NOT try and undermine that principle!
III. Be polite.
A. When critiquing other people's sprites, don not flame the individual. Constructive criticism is appreciated, but cynical is not.
Example of Constructive: "Well, the left arm could be moved up slightly, and the shading needs work, but looks good."
Example of Cynical: "The arm looks like crap and the shading is horrible. What were you thinking? Come back when you can sprite."
You aren't the admin here, you aren't in charge. If you are a moderator or someone in a position of authority and we find you degrading the members here, you will be removed, and we will find someone who knows what cordial means.
As for everyone else who posts here, if you don't have something constructive to say, it is better to just leave the topic than pollute it with cynical or downright insulting commentary. Calling someone's sprites garbage and that they should give up is not acceptable. So keep that in mind. That isn't a suggestion.
B. If someone comes in and posts recolors, do not get a noose ready, we don't believe in lynching here. Explain to them in a manner that fits with section Rule III, section A. Be constructive, not destructive.

That should be it for now. If anything else comes up, pay attention! The rules may be subject to change.
